I registered but didn’t receive the account verification email
First, check if the evway EV app verification email ended up in your spam folder. You can also search for “evway” in your email’s search bar for electric vehicle charging account verification.
If you still can’t find the evway EV app email, contact mobile EV charging support by calling +39 02 600 60 220 or sending an email to assistenza@evway.net.
CHARGING PROCESS
How do I start/stop a charging session with the KeyFob?
If you’re using the evway KeyFob for electric vehicle charging, hold it near the sensor on the charging outlet to start the mobile EV charging session, then insert the cable within 60 seconds.To stop the electric vehicle charging session, hold the KeyFob EV charging device near the charging outlet again
What happens if my credit runs out during a charging session?
The electric vehicle charging session will not stop. If your evway EV app credit becomes insufficient during the mobile EV charging session, evway allows you to complete the session.
• If automatic credit replenishment is activated: Once the electric vehicle charging session ends, your balance will be restored to the specified amount using EV payment methods, ensuring you have sufficient credit for the next mobile EV charging session.
• If automatic credit replenishment is deactivated: At the end of the electric vehicle charging session, the amount needed to bring your balance back to €0 will be charged using EV payment methods.
Can I charge if I have €0 credit?
Yes, you can start electric vehicle charging by using a direct debit on your preferred EV payment methods (Credit Card, Debit Card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Android Pay) through the evway EV app.
Do I need to plug in the cable before starting the session?
You can start the mobile EV charging session first through the evway EV app and then plug in the cable for electric vehicle charging.
Can I charge only at evway stations with the App and/or KeyFob, or at all stations?
With the evway EV app and/or KeyFob EV charging device, you can access electric vehicle charging at all public charging points – in Italy and across Europe – that are shown on the evway EV app map. We recommend always checking the mobile EV charging app to view the status of the charging point.
Where can I find the charging point rates?
The charging station rates for each electric vehicle charging point are shown in the evway EV app in the station’s details page for transparent mobile EV charging pricing.
The cost of each electric vehicle charging session depends on the charging station rates of the selected charging point and the time spent in mobile EV charging through the evway EV app.

KEYFOB
Is there a card available?
The evway KeyFob is an RFID tag for electric vehicle charging, not a card but a keychain. The KeyFob EV charging device allows you to access mobile EV charging without using the evway EV app, simply by tapping it on the sensor at the charging station.
How can I request one?
You can request a KeyFob EV charging device directly from the evway EV app in the “Profiles” section: access the account you’re interested in and click on RFID Cards > Purchase an RFID for convenient electric vehicle charging.
How does it work?
The KeyFob EV charging device is an RFID tag that allows you to access electric vehicle charging without using the evway EV app. After requesting the KeyFob, once you receive it, enter the code in the mobile EV charging app to link it to your profile.
Now you can use it for electric vehicle charging: simply tap the KeyFob EV charging device on the sensor at the charging station to start and/or stop mobile EV charging.
Do I still need a profile on the App if I have the KeyFob?
Yes, because the KeyFob EV charging device must be linked to an evway EV app account for electric vehicle charging functionality and EV payment methods processing.
Why isn’t the KeyFob working?

Can I remove a KeyFob from my account?
Yes, you can remove a KeyFob EV charging device from your evway EV app account. Access the “Profiles” section and select the account you’re interested in. Click on “RFID Cards,” find the KeyFob you want to delete, and follow the on-screen instructions to remove it from your electric vehicle charging account.
PRICING
What rates does evway apply?
For all interoperable electric vehicle charging stations in Italy and Europe, evway applies differentiated charging station rates based on the operator. We recommend always checking the EV app pricing on the evway EV app before starting a mobile EV charging session.
evway applies a consumption-based rate (per kWh) combined with a time-based rate for electric vehicle charging:
AC Stations:
A consumption-based rate is applied throughout the session.
- After the first 3 consecutive hours, a time-based rate is added for every hour (or fraction of an hour).
- From midnight to 8:00 AM, the time-based rate is not applied, but the charging time is still counted.
Example 1: Rate €0.69 – Charging session starts at 10:00 PM
- The consumption-based rate applies for the entire session.
- From midnight to 8:00 AM, the time-based rate is suspended, but the charging time is still counted. If the session starts at 10:00 PM, the first 3 hours end at 1:00 AM.
- Starting from 8:01 AM, the time-based rate is added to the consumption-based rate.
Example 2: Rate €0.69 – Charging session starts at 6:00 AM
- The consumption-based rate applies for the entire session.
- From midnight to 8:00 AM, the time-based rate is suspended, but the charging time is still counted. If the session starts at 6:00 AM, the first 3 hours end at 9:00 AM.
- In this case, the time-based rate is added to the consumption-based rate after 9:00 AM.
Fast DC Stations:
- A consumption-based rate is applied throughout the session.
- After the first hour, a time-based rate is added for every hour (or fraction of an hour), including nighttime hours.
TRIP TOOLS
How do I activate eMX navigation mode?
To turn on eMX EV navigation in the evway EV app, just tap the icon at the bottom center of the screen for enhanced electric vehicle charging trip planning.
How does the Route Planner work?
Tap the map icon at the bottom center of the evway EV app screen to open the Route Planner EV. From there, you can enter details like your vehicle, starting point, destination, and current battery level to plan your electric vehicle charging trip. The Route Planner EV will show you the total distance, estimated travel time, and any mobile EV charging stops you’ll need along the way.You can save your electric vehicle charging trip to access it offline later or start navigating right away using your preferred app (Google Maps, Waze, or Apple Maps) integrated with eMX EV navigation.
What’s the difference between eMX Navigator and Route Planner?
- eMX Navigator is a free navigation tool that shows available EV charging stations in real-time as you drive.
- Route Planner is a guided navigation tool where you can set your starting point and destination. It maps out your route, highlights mobile EV charging stations along the way, and gives step-by-step directions to your destination with electric vehicle charging optimization.

Why am I not getting notifications about my charging session?
First, check if EV charging notifications are enabled in your device settings for the evway EV app. If they are and you’re still not getting mobile EV charging updates, contact customer support:

How do I enable dark mode?
Go to Menu > Settings, then select either light mode or dark mode.
Why is the eMX map in dark mode even though I’ve enabled light mode?
The eMX EV navigation map’s appearance depends on your device’s settings, not the evway EV app settings. This affects both mobile EV charging interface and automotive EV apps integration.
How do I enable landscape mode?
Landscape mode depends on your device. Make sure horizontal orientation is enabled, then simply rotate your phone sideways to switch to landscape view.
